Position: Cobbler

Location: Carson City, Nevada

Responsibilities:

1. Perform various repair services on shoes, boots, handbags, and belts, including sole replacement, stitching repairs, and hardware replacements.
2. Assess the condition of footwear and provide recommendations for repair or replacement.
3. Work with a variety of materials, including leather, suede, and fabric, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
4. Ensure timely completion of repairs while meeting customer satisfaction standards.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of tools and materials.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Cobbler or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in shoe repair.
2. Strong knowledge of footwear construction, materials, and repair techniques.
3. Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment, such as sewing machines, shoe stretchers, and sole presses.
4. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
5. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
6. Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs.
